I hope everyone has had a great summer and is looking forward to the fast approaching Hockey Season.

We have had to make a number of tough decisions over the past couple weeks. Since our numbers along with Petrolia's have dropped in our Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget age groups we've had to move our house league players to Tri-County Local League in order to have more than two or three teams to play all year long.

Tyke and Novice teams will still be playing an interlocking schedule with Petrolia with six teams in each division we feel we can make a go of it, as in the past.

Tri County is a Local League made up of other centres within approximately an hour drive, that have only one or two house league teams in a division. This means playing against Blenheim, Dresden, Glencoe, Petrolia, Ridgetown, Wallaceburg, and West Lorne.

For Peewee, Bantam and Midget it will be hit hockey.

I know this is a big change and we were hoping to avoid this, but again, we have reached a point in the declining numbers in both Mooretown and Petrolia that this change is necessary.
