During the month of October, Petrolia Minor Hockey Mother’s Association will be collecting the volunteer cheques from the families in P.M.H.A. Each family in P.M.H.A. is expected to give a minimum of 8 hours of volunteer time throughout the season, with emphasis being placed on our Major Fundraisers - Lotto 400, Silver Stick and Bingos.
We will be collecting 2 postdated cheques per family completed as follows:
Cheque # 1 - January 15, 2009 - $100.00 - payable to P.M.H.M.A.
Cheque # 2 - April 15, 2009 - $100.00 - payable to P.M.H.M.A.
Each cheque is worth the equivalent of 4 hours of volunteer time, with the first cheques being banked in January, 2009 following Silver Stick.
There are 7 roles per team that cancel both cheques as follows:
Coach - Assistant Coach - Trainer - Manager
Hockey Mom - Timekeeper - Scorekeeper
Lotto 400 Ticket Sellers have the opportunity to cancel both cheques by selling 1 book of 10 tickets. Please contact Tami Young at 519-864-1960 if interested in selling tickets.
All other volunteer opportunities - Bingos, Silver Stick, Picture Day, etc will be posted through the season on the bulletin board at the arena and on this website. Please watch for updates to secure your place.

P.M.H.M.A Hockey mothers will meet in the Mezzanine Room at 7pm on Oct.8/08, Nov. 12/08, Dec.10/08, Jan. 14/09, Feb.11/08, March 11/08.
If you can not make it to the meeting please make arrangements with another mother from your team to attended the meeting for you!
